The Beloit International Film Festival is coming to Blackhawk!

On Thursday, Feb. 16, from 5-8 p.m., Blackhawk will host a free teaser event, featuring a collection of BIFF's short films and a feature film presentation.

Plus, BIFF's resident artist, Daniel Pico, will be on hand to answer questions about filmmaking. Light snacks will be available.

No tickets are required for this event, which will be held in Blackhawk's new Conference Center at Central Campus. All are welcome.

Tentative schedule:

• 5 p.m. Trailer Collection
• 5:30-5:45 p.m. Welcome
• 5:45-6:30 p.m. Short Film Collection
• 6:30-7 p.m. BIFF 2023 Artist in Residence Daniel Pico (presentation + Q&A)
• 7-8 p.m. Feature Film Presentation

Popcorn will be available. Other refreshments will be available for purchase.

Please note that the films are suited for older teens and adults – not children.
