Located between Beloit and Janesville and situated on more than 80 acres of partially wooded prairie, Blackhawk Technical College’s Central Campus is home for most of BTC's programs and services. The campus is easily accessible from Prairie Road (County Highway G) and Highway 51.
BTC’s Central Campus comprises more than 200,000 square feet of instructional classrooms, shops and labs for accounting, marketing, word processing, administrative assistant, legal secretary, fire science, and criminal justice. Also located on the Central Campus is a state-of-the-art, 50,000 square foot health occupations complex for nursing, nursing assistant, dental assistant and hygiene, radiography, and health unit coordinator. BTC Central Campus features a technical library; media production and telecommunications center; bookstore; Starbucks and a campus dining room that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Seminar and teleconferencing facilities are also available.
The Student Services Center is located here and include offices for guidance, admissions and registration, placement, financial aids, veterans' affairs, minority student services, and student activities. Vocational testing and career assessment are available through the new Student Success Center.
Facilities for individualized learning and remedial education are also located at the Central Campus. Central Campus has ample parking and public bus service from Beloit and Janesville is available. In addition, BTC has its own shuttle service that transports students to all campus locations.
