What is your name and where did you grow up?
Milton Bond. I was born and raised in Milwaukee.
What is your role at Blackhawk Technical College?
Math Instructor
What was your journey to this role? Where did you go to school? What did you study?
I went to the University of Minnesota for my bachelor’s degree and Harvard University for my master’s degree.
Is there something that drew you to this career?
I like helping people solve problems.
What skills do you possess that you believe will help you in this position?
I like working with computers. I also have a master’s degree in Computer Science. I enjoy problem-solving and using inductive and deductive reasoning skills to develop a growth mindset.
What is something Blackhawk offers that you feel other colleges do not?
Great locations and inspiring leadership.
What is your life like outside of work? Family? Community involvement? Adorable pets?
I like to volunteer and spend time on pet projects within the community.

I love to cook ethnic foods.
