“The future you have been planning for is here. We are so lucky to be in a profession where every day at work, we have the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life. Awareness of the importance of good oral health is at an all-time high. Your future as a dental assistant is bright and opportunities are as big as you can dream,” said Kristin Ziegler, Dental Assistant Instructor.
Blackhawk’s Dental Assistant program is a 33-credit technical diploma that prepares students for work managing a dental office, coordinating patient scheduling and bookkeeping, manning the front desk as the receptionist or office manager and working as a dental lab technician, dental treatment coordinator or as a dental specialty assistant.
