What You’ll Learn

"Success in business requires training and discipline and hard work. But if you're not frightened by these things, the opportunities are just as great today as they ever were.” – David Rockefeller

An associate's degree in Business Management is your ticket to a career where the opportunities are as wide and diverse as the field itself. Whether you’re interested in working for a company, or want to start your own business, the BTC Business Management program gives you a solid foundation for success. In the program, you’ll receive a well-rounded overview of business operations, marketing, finance, human resources, accounting, project management, team leadership, business technologies, business communications, and global business.

The program emphasizes the five functions of management: planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling. Classes are interactive and involve working in groups, giving you a unique perspective and understanding of the business environment. Our instructors have real-world experience in the business world and as entrepreneurs. You’ll be able to hit the ground running when you head into the workforce, start your own business, or transfer to a four-year college or university.

With small class sizes, you’ll also have the support you need to succeed. The program and its courses are designed to be flexible and easy to work into your busy schedule. In fact, you can decide to pursue the degree with a two, three, or four-year schedule, and you can choose from three different ways to attend classes including in-person, via video conferencing, or online. Classes are also available during the day and in the evening.
