What You’ll Learn

"One of the most feared expressions in modern time is ‘The computer is down.’" – Norman Ralph Augustine

The demand is great for one of the most important roles in any organization – the computer service technician. Because in today’s technology-driven world, when the computers are down, work stops. Businesses need computer service technicians who can think logically and solve problems quickly and efficiently, and with our Computer Service Technician program, you’ll get the hands-on training you need to do just that.

You’ll learn how to confidently and expertly configure, troubleshoot, and support today’s complex PC-based computing systems, gaining the knowledge, attitude, skills, and habits you need whether you’re working on stand-alone PCs to highly integrated networks. You’ll also learn the important soft skills needed to provide excellent customer service. The program is flexible – so you can start at any time and choose the class times that work best for you. Online and part-time options are also available. The program will also prepare you for A+ and Network+ certifications. A+ Certification is a nationally recognized, industry-wide standard that certifies the competency of service technicians and other individuals in the microcomputer industry. The Network+ Certification is the industry standard for Network Technicians. Being certified in both will be key to your career success. Classes are offered at our state-of-the-art Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center
