What You’ll Learn

"Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value." – Albert Einstein

Human resource professionals play a valuable role in an organization, helping companies succeed through employee and organizational development. A career in HR is never boring, it’s always growing and evolving to meet the changing needs of employers. With your associate’s degree in Human Resources, you will be in high demand and able to work practically anywhere – in small to mid-size organizations, corporations, nonprofits, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, you name it – because wherever there are employees, there is a need for human resources.

At BTC, we don’t just teach theory, we offer real-world training to give you the necessary skills needed to understand job analysis, compensation, benefits, training, staffing, employee relations, safety, and human resources information systems. The program is flexible to fit your busy schedule. Enroll as a full-time or part-time student, or take an accelerated route with eight-week in-person classes congruent with eight weeks of online classes.

As a graduate, you can pursue a variety of careers such as a human resources generalist, compensation or benefits specialist, corporate trainer, HR manager or recruiter. In addition, once you complete the program, you will be well prepared for the Society of Human Resources (SHRM) certification. A career in human resources is an exciting opportunity for you to provide amazing value and find the role that fits you best.
