As a web software developer, you will play an important role in developing software applications that can be used in a variety of platforms. You’ll write and design programs using various programming languages to maintain computer files and websites. It’s an exciting field that continues to grow and you’ll find a wide range of career opportunities with an associate degree in IT-Web Software Developer

BTC’s IT-Web Software Developer program focuses on the specific skills and knowledge requirements you need for Web development specialist jobs including analyst /programmer, e-Commerce, or Web design/support. It is designed to meet entry-level education needs of most segments of the IT field. Your training will include general educational development along with required IT technical skills. After graduation, you’ll be ready for an entry-level Web developer jobs in industries such as government, insurance, manufacturing, service, software development, wholesale and retail sales, utilities, banking, and accounting. Within the program is a pathway certificate called IT-Web Designer/Developer Technician. You may earn this certificate while taking courses within the main program, giving you an additional set of industry-recognized skills and abilities that prepare you for entry-level employment.
