Business Professionals of America is the leading CTSO (Career and Technical Student Organization) for students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology, and other related career fields. BPA has 43,000 members in over 2,300 chapters in 23 states. The mission of Business Professionals of America is to contribute to the preparation of a world-class workforce through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic, and technological skills.

The Criminal Justice Association is open to all BTC students interested in the history and experiences of law enforcement. The purpose of this organization is to help members learn to lead by example; make connections and serve their community; distinguish individual career goals, encourage strengths, and develop skills.

The Dental Auxiliary Student Association (DASA) is available to all students enrolled in the Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene programs. This student organization promotes leadership skills, networking and team-building opportunities, and dental-related educational enrichment. DASA-sponsored events provide opportunities to connect with others within the college and with professionals in the community.

The Epicurean Club provides students who are interested in the Culinary Arts field to participate in educational activities that enhance their culinary skills. Students have the opportunity to show off their talents at various competitions throughout the year.

Join the eSports League if you like gaming and/or are interested in collegiate eSports! The competitive eSports teams compete in a variety of games at state and national tournaments. We also have social gaming and is a great way to socialize with your peers.

The Medical Imaging Club's goals are to: develop leadership and professionalism in its members; promote learning opportunities within the field of Medical Imaging; provide educational enrichment and student opportunities to its members; and establish a good reputation within the community and promote relationships with clinical affiliates.

The Minority Excellence Organization (MEO) is a targeted initiative designed to support all students of color by providing resources aimed at promoting academic success, personal development and community engagement. The Multi-Cultural Alliance (MCA) promotes campus diversity initiatives and activities at BTC. Members promote goodwill, grow leadership skills, and develop professional skills for social and racial justice. MCA has participated in tours to the Milton House, art museum visits, and various cultural programming including Soul Food Luncheon, Black History Month, Veterans Day, Native American History, and Holocaust Remembrance.

The NSLS is the largest leadership honor society in the United States. Our NSLS chapter at Blackhawk Technical College was started in 2019. Our local chapter is part of the national organization with 700+ chapters and over 1.4 million members. 

The NSLS leadership program teaches the interpersonal skills that employers seek to give you an edge in the job market. Hear directly from current members as they share how their experience has changed their life.

Membership is based on superior academic achievement and is conferred only by invitation of your local chapter. Phi Theta Kappa promotes academic achievement and provides service opportunities for professional growth and fellowship.

The PAS organization meets primarily at the Monroe Campus but is open to all BTC students. PAS works with students who are interested in agriculture, agribusiness, and natural resources. The purpose of PAS is to provide opportunities for individual growth, leadership, and career preparation.

The mission of the BTC Student Government Association is to represent the current and future student needs and wants for the greater benefit of the student body. Student Government Association provides opportunities to build fellowship within the college community while providing numerous opportunities for professional growth for all BTC students.

The Student Government Association is part of the Wisconsin Student Government Association. Our students represent BTC at Wisconsin Student Government meetings and conferences, as well as, meet with our state legislators on important issues.

The Student Nurses Association (SNA) is a national, state, and local organization for Nursing students and aspiring Nursing students. The SNA mission is to convey the standards and ethics of the Nursing profession; promote the development of the skills that students will need as responsible and accountable members of the Nursing profession; advocate for high quality, evidence-based, affordable, and accessible health care; advocate for and contribute to advances in Nursing education; and develop Nursing students who are prepared to lead the profession in the future.

The Surgical Technology Club (STC) is open to all students enrolled in the Surgical Technology program at Blackhawk. The goal of the club is to provide opportunities to develop skills needed to enter and advance in careers in Surgical Technology. This is done by developing leadership and professionalism, promoting networking and team building opportunities, and providing surgical-related educational enrichment to members.

The purpose of Blackhawk's Veterans Club is to provide a single point of contact for any and all activities related to Veterans' education. This includes coordinating with local, regional, state, and national veterans' organizations to provide services that support the student veterans' educational experience. The Veterans Club also conducts activities that illustrate and celebrate past and present contributions to society as a whole.
