English Language Learners

Blackhawk Technical College provides English Language Learning (ELL) classes and labs for students who wish to develop more proficient English skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. These classes are offered at various times and campuses and students can join most classes at any time.

The ELL program is open to students of all levels of proficiency from no English to intermediate levels at the Rock County Job Center and intermediate levels at the Beloit Center. ELL classes are offered at no charge; however, nominal material fees may be charged. In order to be eligible, students must be at least 18 ½ years of age and live in Rock or Green County.
