Image

One of Blackhawk Technical College’s vendors, The National Student Clearinghouse (NSC), experienced a cybersecurity incident involving the MOVEit file transfer tool.

Blackhawk’s systems were NOT affected by this incident. However, NCS has notified the college that the breach did include student data provided to them from Blackhawk via MOVEit.

At this time, Blackhawk is unaware of which specific files may have been impacted. The college is awaiting a detailed response from NSC and is collaborating with all relevant parties to take appropriate actions once more information becomes available.
