Digital Marketing Student Begins Internship in Blackhawk’s Marketing Department

Image

Kearie Pulliam, a student in the Digital Marketing program, is interning in Blackhawk’s Marketing & Communications Department for the spring 2023 semester and is ecstatic to learn all things marketing, she said.

“I would like to learn every aspect of the marketing department and see what areas interest me the most,” Kearie said.

Besides being the current Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) ambassador for the 2022-23 school year, Kearie has also had on-campus employment through the CARE Center for the past year.

Balancing work and a full-time school schedule can be challenging, but through Blackhawk’s flexibility, Kearie is able to balance both and accomplish her goals in the classroom and her career.

Planning to graduate in December of 2023, Kearie then hopes to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minor in Journalism. In the future, she would like to have a career in the news world.

“I would love to work in an environment to be able to write and report a breaking news story,” she said.

Kearie would like to thank Blackhawk and its staff for providing her with endless opportunities.

“I hope to be an amazing asset to the Marketing & Communications team,” she said.

Outside of school, Kearie likes to spend quality time with her husband, two cats and dog.
