In celebration of the completion of their degree, 13 Radiography students were recognized Friday afternoon with a pinning ceremony on Central Campus.

“This is not about a job. This is about care for someone who is loved, someone who is coming to you for help and wants to go home at the end of it all. If or when you ever need help, we will be the ones treating you as someone who is love,” said Kaylyn Algrim-Bender, one of the Radiography class speakers.

Blackhawk’s Radiography program is a 62-credit associate degree course that trains students to use X-ray imaging machines to demonstrate body parts on X-ray for diagnostic purposes, including diagnostic radiology, bedside and trauma procedures, pediatric radiography, and special procedures. Learn more about the Radiography program at blackhawk.edu/radiography.
