Blackhawk's new Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training program is an approved Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration provider that delivers high-quality, safe driver training skills to new drivers. We work with local and regional employers of commercial vehicle drivers to refresh experienced drivers and train new drivers. Endorsements include Class A restricted, Utility Vehicle Training, Municipal vehicle training, shuttle bus training and a full Class A license.
Drivers should expect extra expenses for drug testing and obtaining a Commercial Learner’s permit and FED MED card prior to hands-on training. Our truck driving training program does not result in a technical diploma or certificate but meets all FMCSA and State of Wisconsin requirements. Drivers may use employer-provided or Blackhawk-provided passenger buses, tractors, and trailers. Contact Steve O’Dell at sodell3@blackhawk.edu or (608) 757-7714 for information or a quote.
