Graduating Radiography Students Recognized in Pinning Ceremony
In celebration of the completion of their degree, 13 Radiography students were recognized Friday afternoon with a pinning ceremony on Central Campus.
“It’s our jobs now to make sure that every person we interact with will be treated with the same level of care that we would want given to our loved ones in their time of need,” said Madelin Meglic, graduate and president of the Medical Imaging Club.
This was the last pinning ceremony for Joe Ipsen, Allied Health Administrative Chair and the Radiography program lead, who is retiring.
Blackhawk’s Radiography is a 62-credit associate degree that trains students to use X-ray imaging machines to demonstrate body parts on X-ray for diagnostic purposes, including diagnostic radiology, bedside and trauma procedures, pediatric radiography, and special procedures.
