Automotive Technician

The Automotive Technician program will prepare you to perform factory-recommended maintenance procedures and to diagnose and repair performance problems of the engine, transmission, steering, suspension, heating, cooling, brake, and electrical systems in cars and trucks. You will also learn the proper use and function of hand and machine tools, automotive parts, online service references, computerized equipment, and other technical and diagnostic equipment required to maintain and service increasingly complex vehicles. In addition, our instruction places an emphasis on problem-solving skills, including the use of diagnostic equipment such as lab oscilloscopes, scan tools, and digital voltmeters.
