Laboratory Technician Assistant

A career working in a food processing, medical, environmental, or agriculture laboratory is available to you with this one-year technical diploma. As a laboratory technician, you are part of a team conducting analysis on samples such as food, water, fuel, soil, and bodily fluids. Operating standard laboratory equipment, performing tests and experiments, and documenting the results is part of your day in the lab and it’s an exciting career path that you can pursue in various industries.

The Laboratory Technician Program will give you a strong basis in scientific principles, quality methodology and documentation, and laboratory equipment and testing methodologies. After completing the program, you’ll be qualified to pursue a career in entry-level positions as an agriculture and food lab assistant, medical laboratory assistant, environmental science technician assistant, and quality assurance laboratory assistant.
