Black History Month Celebration

Please join us to help promote and celebrate diversity at BTC and in our communities. 

The BTC Multi-Cultural Alliance (MCA) and Veterans Club welcome guest speaker Major General Marcia Anderson to BTC. 

Major General Anderson was the first African American Brigadier General to serve as the Deputy Commanding General of the Army’s Human Resources Command, until her selection and United States Senate confirmation as the first African American female Major General in the Army, Army Reserve or Active Army, and her subsequent assignment as the Deputy Chief, Army Reserve in 2011. Major General Anderson has also earned a Juris Doctorate in law from the Rutgers University School of Law in 1984 and a Masters in Strategic Studies from the Army War College in 2003.

As a citizen-soldier, Anderson is employed by the United States Courts, where she serves as the Clerk of the Bankruptcy Court, Western District of Wisconsin, located in Madison, Wisconsin.
