Trevor Boyle had the desire to work in the medical field, and the reputation of Blackhawk’s Nursing program is what got him in the door.

Brian Warson has been a CNA for almost 17 years and has always enjoyed working in the Nursing field. He enrolled in Blackhawk’s Nursing program because said he feels it’s one of the best Associate Degree Nursing programs in the state.

The Agriculture and Rural Initiative, Compeer Financial’s donor advised fund, has granted $600,000 to community and technical colleges across the cooperative’s 144-county territory, including $25,000 to Blackhawk Technical College.

Mercyhealth and Blackhawk Technical College are excited to announce a new scholarship program to assist students studying in one of five programs that will lead to a career in health care. The scholarships will begin being awarded in the spring of 2023.
