Twenty-five high school juniors completed their summer internships on Friday as part of the 2022 Summer Rock County Internship Program. The six-week experience ended with a graduation with capstone presentations at the new Rock County Human Services building. 

In celebration of National Culinary Month, we asked Culinary Arts instructor Hakim Salaam to share his favorite dishes.

Marissa Greuel Hainstock is inspired by what she sees as a drive to succeed by Blackhawk students. Her new position as Transfer Coordinator, which will be an integral part of the school’s new Associate of Arts and Associate of Science programs, will enable her to support students in furthering their educational needs.

Blackhawk Technical College will now offer two new degree programs that give students a powerful option: A streamlined, low-cost path to a bachelor’s degree.
