Exciting changes are underway! This fall, construction projects will begin in the Cafeteria, Commons, and Old Library. As this work takes place, there will be temporary adjustments to foodservice and seating options. 

The Student Union Wisconsin Historical Society is touring a new traveling display, "We Stand on their Shoulders," which celebrates the history of Wisconsin women and voting. The banner exhibit will be on display in the Student Success Center (Room 2200 Central Campus) from Tuesday, September 21 until Thursday, September 30.

The youngest of ten children, Issa Conombo left his home in Burkina Faso, Africa for Brooklyn, NY in 2016 to study and seek his future.

Stephanie Hanson was born a teacher. Her earliest memories involve setting up a classroom in her bedroom and subjecting her siblings to playing school. “My mom bought me a chalkboard and a teacher’s grade book from a rummage sale,” she recalls, “and I would have class for them regularly. I would use my allowance to buy trinkets from the dollar store to bribe them into letting me teach them. As far back as I can remember, it’s what I’ve always wanted to do.”
